GRAFTON, N.D. — A former stockbroker in Grand Forks and Grafton who scammed six clients out of about $1.9 million has been sentenced to two years in prison. Judge Laurie Fontaine also ordered 59-year-old Ross Haugen to pay back the money and to serve nine years of supervised probation after his prison term. Haugen pleaded guilty to seven felony charges in January. He initially had faced 60 charges in a case that took three years to resolve. Haugen earlier lost both his federal and state securities licenses.
