Bismarck, ND - North Dakota Securities Commissioner Karen Tyler has ordered Brent L. Kitzan to cease and desist from offering and selling unregistered securities, acting as an unregistered broker-dealer and agent in the offer and/or sale of securities in the state, and from engaging in any fraudulent or deceptive practices in connection with the offer and/or sale of securities in the state.
Kitzan is not registered as a securities broker-dealer or securities agent in North Dakota, and the securities he has offered and sold are not registered in North Dakota.
The North Dakota Securities Department, North Dakota Insurance Department and Bureau of Criminal Investigation executed a search of Kitzan's business in Bismarck on December 15, 2011, which provided evidence of additional unlawful securities sales activity by Kitzan in the state.
