Bismarck, ND - North Dakota Securities Commissioner Karen Tyler has ordered Bruce A. Hager to cease and desist from acting as an unregistered broker-dealer and agent in the offer and/or sale of securities in the state of North Dakota, and from engaging in any fraudulent or deceptive practices in connection with the offer and/or sale of securities in the state.

Hager is not registered as a broker-dealer in North Dakota, is not registered as a securities agent in North Dakota, and has also been barred nationally from registration as a securities agent by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), formerly NASD.The North Dakota Securities Department and Bureau of Criminal Investigation executed a search of Hager’s business in Fargo on November 5, 2008, which provided evidence of new unlawful securities sales activity by Hager in the state. Hager is currently serving 10 years probation for earlier criminal violations of the North Dakota Securities Laws.
